Jail Break
How far can you get in 24 hours?
The
Sussex Autistic Community Trust, RNLI, Eastbourne & South Wealden MS
Society and Sussex Air Ambulance have joined together to organise a sponsored
jailbreak.

The Jailbreak will take place over 24
hours with teams being released from Eastbourne’s Redoubt Fortress at 11am on
Saturday 16th May 2009.
The teams must then try to get as far
away as possible by 11am 17th May, without using their own money or
transport, or that of their friends and family.
Each of the charities are looking for
teams with a minimum of two people, to compete in the Jailbreak.
Teams pay £10 per person to enter and
are encouraged to secure sponsorship for their chosen charity. The minimum age
limit for participants is 18.
There will be an Awards Evening on 16th
June 2009 where Beverley Thompson, from BBC South East News, will be presenting
the following prizes:-
·
the
Team that reached the furthest destination.
·
the
Team that used the most unusual forms of transport to get to their destination.
·
the
Team that reached the most unusual destination in the 24 hours.
·
the
Team that raised the most sponsorship money.
·
the
Individual which raised the most money for their charity.
The Awards Evening is being held at
Martello Beach, Pevensey Bay and is receiving generous support and sponsorship
from the Haulfryn Group, which owns Martello Beach.
